Nootka Saunas is premium sauna manufacturer, designing and building premium cedar saunas right here in Squamish. We're a made-to-order company and we're growing fast. We're looking for a Senior Purchaser to own our supply chain from raw material to finished product.

This is a hands-on role at the center of our production operation. You'll balance spending, storage, and production needs in real time.

What You'll Do

Manage in-pace purchasing of all sauna raw materials, balancing spending, storage, and production needs

Own inventory management, including physical organization of workshop materials and optimization of regularly pulled items

Manage off-site storage and product flow

Monitor material quality and process warranty returns

Source new suppliers and strengthen existing supplier relationships

Help roll out our new ERP system (Odoo), including SKU scanning, product serialization, and forecasting future inventory demands





Collaborate with shipping/receiving to strengthen inbound and outbound tracking systems

What We're Looking For

Proven purchasing or procurement experience, ideally in manufacturing or a materials-heavy environment

Strong organizational skills and comfort working on the shop floor, not just behind a desk

Experience with inventory systems; ERP experience (Odoo or similar) is a solid asset A negotiator's mindset with the relationship skills to build lasting supplier partnerships

Ability to forecast demand and make smart trade-offs between cost, lead time, and storage

Compensation and Benefits

$75,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on experience

HSA/benefits package

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, in person at our Squamish facility
