We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to source, negotiate, and purchase food ingredients, packaging materials, production supplies, and services. The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, ensure timely material availability, control costs, and support production while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and purchase raw materials, packaging, and production supplies.

- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.

- Issue purchase orders and monitor on-time deliveries.

- Manage supplier performance and identify recent sourcing opportunities.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.

- Analyze market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.

- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance teams.

- Maintain purchasing records and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or a related field.

- 5 8 years of purchasing experience, preferably in food manufacturing.

- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.

- SCMP, CPSM, or CPM designation is an asset.
