MSZ Systems Inc. is hiring a Senior Front-End Designer / UX Designer

We are looking for a designer who can create user-centered, accessible, and build-ready digital experiences for public-sector services. The ideal candidate has solid experience with UX artifacts, wireframes, prototypes, design systems, accessibility, and working with Agile product teams.

Responsibilities

Design and enhance web-based digital services.

Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, design specs, and interface documentation.

Work with product owners, developers, researchers, and business stakeholders.

Support usability testing, research synthesis, and evidence-based design decisions.

Apply accessibility standards including WCAG.

Prepare developer-ready design handoff and front-end design documentation.

Contribute to design systems, reusable components, and responsive design patterns.

Required Skills

2+ years of experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer,



Product Designer, Front-End Designer, or Service Designer.

2+ years creating UX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, user flows, journey maps, storyboards, and design specifications.

2+ years working in Agile or cross-functional product teams.

Strong experience with Figma, Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.

Experience designing responsive web/mobile interfaces.

Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Government or public-sector digital service experience.

Design system or component library experience.

Accessibility/WCAG experience.

Experience creating multiple design options and production-ready UI specs.

Portfolio or work samples showing wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation.

Location: Remote within Canada

Contract: Long-term contract
