BoomerangFX is the fastest-growing AI-powered practice management platform in private-pay healthcare, operating across 6+ countries. We're building the next generation of clinical AI, starting with Auvia, our autonomous patient engagement co-pilot. We're looking for a Senior Generative AI Engineer who wants to do more than ship models - someone who wants to architect production-grade agentic systems on Azure, shape our AI architecture from the ground up, and see their work go live across a global healthcare platform.

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role with real technical ownership, working directly with leadership on where AI takes the business next. AI Solution Development

Design, build, and deploy scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions

Develop production-grade applications using LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and intelligent automation

Architect enterprise AI solutions that solve real business challenges

Build scalable, maintainable AI workflows and services Generative AI & LLM Applications

Build and optimize solutions using OpenAI, Anthropic, and Azure OpenAI

Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks

Develop conversational AI, chatbot, and AI-agent solutions Azure AI & Cloud Architecture

Deploy AI applications within Microsoft Azure environments

Work with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and related technologies Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and define solution strategies

Translate business requirements into technical AI solutions

Present recommendations, prototypes,



and solution designs to stakeholders Optimization & Continuous Improvement

Monitor, evaluate, and improve AI model performance

Establish testing, validation, and evaluation frameworks

Support AI governance, quality assurance, and reliability initiatives WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU - straight numbers, no guessing games

8+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Development, or AI Consulting

5+ years of hands-on Python development experience

2+ years building production-grade Generative AI, NLP, chatbot, or LLM-based applications

3+ years working with Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services

2-3+ years of Canadian work experience

Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, AI agents, and workflow automation

Track record of taking AI solutions from proof-of-concept to production

Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Legally authorized to work in Canada today — not in-process, not pending EDUCATION

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. NICE TO HAVE

- Experience in Healthcare SaaS or Healthcare Technology
- Experience building enterprise-scale AI products and intelligent automation solutions THE REAL TALK

This is an individual contributor role with serious technical scope - not a management title, and we're not dressing it up as one. If you want to keep building hands-on at a senior level instead of drowning in 1:1s, that's exactly what this is.
