Senior Manager, Strategy and Business Analysis You’ll be working with Business Analysts, Financial Analysts and Project Managers supporting Strategy and Business Development functions within Canada Card.
Senior Managers are responsible for identifying and evaluating recent business opportunities, including products, marketing strategies and partnerships, and supporting senior leadership to understand market dynamics, competitor moves and emerging trends. You will apply strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges, develop and test strategies that impact the bottom line, and work in a collaborative environment that values insight, continuous learning and incentivises innovation.
Develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability and competitive success.
Own business cases with a P&L; accountability.
Potentially manage and develop a team of analysts; Coordinate and collaborate across the business to manage the delivery of business cases and initiatives, build business requirements and execute the growth strategy.
Oversee multiple concurrent projects and programs.
Partner with colleagues across Tech, Marketing, Operations,
Finance and others to improve quality, volume, service and profitability.
Show strong quantitative orientation and robust analytic marketing & credit risk management skills.
Build and leverage capabilities of a high‑performing team and business partners.
Maintain intense focus on short and long term results.
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred).
At least 5 years of quantitative analysis/financial modeling experience.
At least 5 years of qualitative analysis experience.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
At least 3 years of project management experience.
At least 2 years of competitive/market analysis experience. Corporate strategy decision making and problem solving using analytics with a basic understanding of credit card business.
