Essential Functions:

The L3Harris MAPPS Global business is looking for a Senior Manager, Finance who will have overall responsibility for the MAPPS Global Finance function, including direct responsibility of the end‑to‑end finance team with a focus on growing and developing talent for the future. This team includes leaders and individual contributors in Program Finance, Accounting, FP&A;, and Pricing. The Senior Manager, Finance will lead and support the MAPPS Global finance organization, and work in partnership with our Division, Sector and Corporate leaders.

The Senior Manager, Finance will require experience in financial data preparation, controlling and process improvement and administration, and will be reporting on the business’ Orders, Revenue, EBIT and Cash in accordance with the business plan. The successful candidate will be a highly analytical, self‑starter and collaborative problem solver who is accustomed to the cadence of a deadline‑driven public company.

What You Will Do:

- Serve as the Finance leader for the L3Harris MAPPS Global business.
- Advise on risks and opportunities on business plans and drive action plans to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities.
- Partner with and provide leadership and guidance to Program Managers, Technical Leads, and Division/Sector leadership related to financial and program performance.
- Provide oversight of financials for Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash, including preparation of financial reports and briefings to leadership.




- Prepare financial statements and financial models when required to depict ‘what‑if’ scenarios.
- Lead all MAPPS accounting, pricing and other finance/accounting functions.
- Coordinate with other departments and functions to ensure that all short and long term forecasting is accurate and reported on time to Division/Sector leadership.
- Monitor and proactively manage milestone invoices and program cash forecast.
- Establish key performance metrics and ongoing reporting of programs’ costs and schedule variances in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Analyze and monitor sites’ program EACs – ensuring the preparation, maintenance and timely reporting of program performance data to Division/Sector leadership.
- Ensure finance/accounting regulatory and compliance practices are in place at all international sites, including all relevant enterprise‑wide finance/accounting policies and procedures.
- Program Finance and Earned Value Management (EVM) experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience; Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience; In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
- Requires advanced business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to lead business area or functional teams.
- Proven track record developing talent in the defense industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a high‑performing team.
- Possesses strong knowledge and experience working with international finance/accounting principles, rules and regulations.
- Ability to build executive level briefings.
- Strong experience managing EACs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with PMs and other functional leaders.
- Experience interfacing with and presenting to executive leadership.
- Ability to create and present executive level briefings.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and challenging environment.




- Knowledge and experience working with SAP ERP system would be preferred.
- Ability to easily communicate in both French and English (due to regular interactions with colleagues and partners outside Quebec).

Eligibility Criteria:

- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
