As a Senior Estimator, you’ll support the Director of Preconstruction in delivering high‑quality preconstruction services for high‑rise residential projects. The Estimator is a pivotal member of our preconstruction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates. This role involves detailed quantity take‑offs, comprehensive cost analysis, and collaborative engagement with stakeholders to ensure project viability and successful tender submissions.

Prepare detailed cost estimates across all project stages, including conceptual, preliminary, progress, control, and final bid/tendered budgets for high‑rise residential towers.

Quantity Takeoffs: Conduct accurate quantity take‑offs for all building components and systems, including structural, architectural, building envelope, interior finishes, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP).

Subcontractor & Supplier Management: Solicit, analyze, and evaluate bids from trade contractors and suppliers, preparing comprehensive comparison sheets to inform final pricing.

Cost Analysis & Value Engineering: Contribute to value engineering efforts by identifying cost‑saving opportunities, analyzing cost implications of design alternatives, and optimizing material and construction methods.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Chief Estimator, Project Managers, Consultants, Owners,



and Trades to ensure a thorough understanding of project scope and design.

Data Management: Maintain and update estimating databases, including historical cost data, unit pricing, and assembly models, to enhance future estimating accuracy.

Risk Identification: Identify and assess potential risks related to estimates, subcontractor proposals, and market conditions, reporting significant exceptions to the Chief Estimator.

Site Evaluation: Conduct site visits and inspections for proposed projects to gather essential information influencing cost and construction logistics. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related Applied Science/Engineering discipline. 10–12+ years of progressive experience in construction estimating, with a strong emphasis on high‑rise residential projects. Proven proficiency in industry‑standard estimating software (e.g., Timberline Precision Estimating, On‑Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Knowledge of various construction contract types (e.g., CCDC2, CC5A, CCDC5B, CCA1) and their implications on project estimates. Ability to accurately read, interpret, and analyze complex architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
