A rapidly growing regional General Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to steer their expanding commercial division. This role is designed for a leader who wants meaningful influence over office culture, field execution, and custom commercial operations. Supported by dedicated safety, estimating, and business development teams, you will take full-cycle ownership of a $5M - $10M portfolio with a direct line to executive leadership, and a clear runway for long-term growth.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead and manage commercial projects totaling $5M to $10M in value, ranging from regional commercial remodels (medical, financial, corporate offices) to nationwide commercial new construction.
- Manage project financials, pay applications, change orders, and submittals, participating in formal monthly partner financial reviews.
- Work hand-in-hand with a team of experienced site Superintendents to resolve field issues, maintain schedule velocity, and ensure quality control.
- Maintain proactive, transparent communication with project owners, developers, and trade partners.




- Assist the Pre-construction Director and Estimator during project hand-offs to ensure accurate budget alignment prior to kickoff.
- Must be able to work on-site at corporate headquarters in Appleton/Oshkosh/Neenah Wisconsin market.

Qualifications:

Required

- 7+ years of commercial construction project management experience with a General Contractor.
- Proven track record managing total active project volumes of $5M to $10M+.
- Strong capability in reviewing architectural, MEP, and structural plans, handling full submittal cycles independently.
- Ability to partner seamlessly with field superintendents and communicate clearly with ownership.
- Demonstrated success protecting project profit margins and managing cash flow.

Preferred:
- Prior background transitioning from a field leadership role (Superintendent, Journeyman, or Trade Specialist) into Project Management.
- or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent real-world trade experience.
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or standard contemporary construction management software.
