The EA SPORTS FC Art team is a global community of content creators driven by imagination and a passion to grow the love of sports through inspiring visuals and immersive experiences. This team works onsite in the Burnaby office three days a week.

The Senior Technical

Artist (Sr. TA) develops pipelines, workflows, and technological innovations used by content creators from the FC team. Reporting to the Director of Technical Art, the Sr. Developing in‑game content workflows and asset optimization/integration at runtime.

Assuming ownership of technical issues and bringing them to resolution. Leading one or more domains in game development. Backgrounds in Art, Design, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science are welcome, provided there is comfort working with both artistic and technical elements.

At least 6+ years of games production experience.





Experience with game engines such as Unreal and Blueprints.

Experience with content‑related optimization techniques in games. A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field. Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or C# (C++ is a bonus but not required). A solutions‑provider mindset, especially in testing and debugging technical issues. A passion for games. For example, in British Columbia the range is $141,400 – $204,400 CAD.
