About the Role

As a Casual Server, you'll help create exceptional dining experiences for our residents and their guests through friendly, attentive service and a welcoming attitude. Working alongside our Hospitality team, you'll assist with meal service, dining room operations, and resident interactions, playing an important role in creating a positive dining experience and enhancing our residents' quality of life.

Schedule: Casual. Evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation: $20.68

Role Responsibilities:

- Set up, serve, and maintain dining rooms and designated service areas
- Take meal and beverage orders following established policies and Serving it Right guidelines
- Handle food in accordance with Food Protected sanitary procedures and regulatory standards
- Respond attentively and efficiently to tenant requests, questions,



concerns, and complaints
- Take ownership of tenant issues and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Wash plates, utensils, and glassware; assist with light kitchen food prep (soups, salads, entrees, desserts)
- Report any maintenance needs to the Hospitality Manager
- Follow WHMIS protocols, infection control guidelines, and maintain MSDS
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and support Risk Management programs
- Perform other duties as assigned

Necessary Education and Experience:

- Serving It Right Certification
- Food Safe Certification
- WHMIS Certification
- First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience in dining, hospitality, and/or full-service senior living is preferred
