Overview

We are seeking a Service Writer & Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive repair, strong customer service skills, and the ability to upsell services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within a dealership setting.

Duties

- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Write accurate service orders based on customer requests and vehicle issues
- Communicate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Upsell additional services or maintenance packages to customers
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Handle cash transactions with precision and integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in-person with excellent phone etiquette
- Demonstrate time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Utilize technology sales tools to enhance the customer shopping experience

Skills
- Prior experience in automotive repair or dealership environment
- Strong sales and upselling abilities
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures




- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues
- Ability to work collaboratively with mechanics and other team members

-Mitchell 1 software knowledge is a plus
- Proficient in POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong sales acumen with a passion for selling
- Phone etiquette and communication skills
- Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in technology sales is a plus
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions

Wage dependent on experience and skills, starting at $20.00 per hour This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize your automotive knowledge and customer service skills to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Job is located in Diamond Valley, AB.
