Overview

We are seeking a Sheet Metal Worker and Shop Labourer. This role involves working with various metal preparation processes, operating machinery, and supporting shop operations to ensure high-quality production.

Experience is not necessary, on the job training is provided.

Responsibilities

- Operate shear and CNC programming bending machine, material embossing equipment, and various roofing panel machines. All necessary training done on site.

- Use occasional hand tools and tape measures.

- assist customers by loading existing orders and/or taking current orders.

- Support machining operations including weekly maintenance of CNC equipment.

- Handle material movement using forklift.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.

Skills

- Forklift experience is an asset.

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is an asset, but not required.

- Ability to work safely around machinery and support shop operations efficiently.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
