Responsibilities

- Supervise daily store activities, ensuring smooth operations during your shift and that all team members are aligned with company standards.
- Lead and motivate staff by providing clear direction, coaching, and ongoing training to enhance performance and customer service quality.
- Manage cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and ensure accurate bookkeeping and payroll processing.
- Oversee merchandising efforts, including pricing strategies, product placement, and inventory management to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience through excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts for new team members, participate in interviewing candidates,



and support onboarding processes.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, assist with budgeting and sales management strategies, and implement marketing initiatives to boost store visibility.

Qualifications

- Proven supervising or team management experience within retail or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising principles, pricing strategies, and store management best practices.
- Ability to train staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
