Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in a full-time capacity. This vital role ensures the smooth flow of goods through accurate receipt, storage, and shipment processes within our warehouse environment. Duties

- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and ensure proper documentation using warehouse management systems such as MRP or AS400
- Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately for delivery or transfer
- Manage order picking and fulfillment processes for e-commerce and wholesale customers with precision and speed
- Maintain organized storage areas, conduct inventory counts, and update stock levels within warehouse management systems




- Assist in warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with other departments to ensure timely dispatches
- Operate order pickers and other equipment to facilitate efficient order fulfillment while ensuring safety standards are met

Experience

- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation, reach trucks, or similar machinery (certification preferred)
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as MRP or AS400 for inventory tracking and order processing
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, including order picking, packaging, and load & unload procedures
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to shipping dimensions and weights
- Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
