Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in a full-time capacity. This vital role ensures the smooth and efficient movement of goods in and out of our warehouse, supporting our commitment to timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory management.

Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining seamless warehouse distribution processes, supporting e-commerce activities, and upholding safety standards across the facility.

Duties

- Accurately receive incoming shipments by inspecting deliveries against purchase orders and packing lists
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Prepare outbound shipments by selecting products, packaging items securely, and verifying order accuracy
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and AS400 systems to track inventory movements and update records
- Maintain organized storage areas for efficient order picking and inventory control
- Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report shortages or damages




- Assist with order fulfillment for e-commerce platforms by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all warehouse activities and maintain a clean work environment

Experience

- Previous warehouse experience with a focus on shipping & receiving operations preferred
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment with proper certification preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems such as WMS or MRP systems like AS400 is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Experience in order picking, packing, loading & unloading shipments in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of e-commerce shipping procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail combined with good organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
