Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products. Whether full-time or part-time, you will play a key part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, supporting order fulfillment, and upholding safety standards.

Duties

- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying quantities, and recording deliveries using warehouse management systems such as MRP or AS400.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately to meet customer specifications.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely for loading and unloading goods.
- Manage order picking and packing processes to ensure timely fulfillment of e-commerce and wholesale orders.
- Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring proper stacking and adherence to safety protocols.
- Use warehouse distribution systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and support inventory audits.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.





Experience

- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes.
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar material handling equipment; forklift certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), or AS400 systems for inventory control.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Experience with order fulfillment including order picking, packaging, and preparing shipments for dispatch.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
