Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and dependable Site Attendant to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and smooth operation of our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment, performing custodial and janitorial duties, and supporting facilities maintenance activities. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming space for staff, visitors, and contractors alike.

This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in cleaning, safety, and general site upkeep while contributing to a positive and professional environment. This is a hourly part time role, with prospect for full‑time Building Caretaker transition for candidates who demonstrate strong performance, initiative, and dependability.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of buildings, walkways, and waste stations
- Monitor the site for safety hazards and address issues promptly
- Support daily operational tasks such as equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Assist visitors, staff, and contractors with directions and access
- Follow safety procedures and report incidents or concerns
- Perform minor repair and maintenance tasks as needed
- Contribute to a positive, efficient,



and well‑coordinated work environment

Experience

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines diligently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (required)
- Ability to pass a criminal record check (required)
- Prior site attendant experience in busy environments will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of using basic power tools
- Basic knowledge of reading construction drawings will be considered a plus.
- Good communication and customer‑service mindset
