Let There Be
Canada
Structure: Hybrid / Flex Full time — flexible scheduling available for candidates currently in school (including part-time during the semester and full-time during school breaks)
Location: Remote (North & South America Only) Overview of the Role
Let There Be is a science marketing agency that helps leading healthcare brands communicate and visualize science in clear, ownable, regulatory-approved ways. Our work lives at the intersection of science and creativity — building claims and distilling complex clinical and scientific content into clear, compelling narratives that are brought to life through creative production, shaping the narrative foundation that drives our clients' marketing — and we are growing our presence to match the quality of what we create. We are looking for a motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to take full ownership of the Let There Be LinkedIn presence.
This is not a supporting role. You will be responsible for the entire content pipeline, from ideation through to posting. If you are someone who thinks in content, moves fast, and wants real ownership over a brand channel from day one, this is that opportunity.
This role is an ideal launchpad for anyone considering a career in marketing. You'll get an inside look at how a working agency operates, build a real portfolio of published work, and gain hands-on experience across strategy, content creation, and execution.
Compensation & Structure
Compensation: Weekly stipend. Amount confirmed upon offer.
Time Commitment: Flexible and part time. Estimated 8–12 hours per week.
Duration:
Internship-based engagement with potential to extend based on performance and fit.
Location: Fully remote. Availability during Eastern Time business hours for check-ins and approvals is expected.
Please note that the scope of this role may evolve based on business needs. While the responsibilities outlined here reflect the primary focus of the engagement, you may be asked to contribute to tasks or projects outside of what is specifically described as the team and its priorities grow. Core Responsibilities
Content Ideation: Generate a consistent pipeline of post ideas that reflect Let There Be's voice, expertise, and work — from thought leadership to behind-the-scenes content.
Copywriting: Write clear, on-brand captions and post copy for LinkedIn, tailored to our audience of healthcare brand marketers and industry partners.
Visual Creation: Produce or source supporting visuals for posts, working within Let There Be's brand guidelines.
Approval Workflow: Submit content for internal review and incorporate feedback before scheduling or publishing.
Posting & Scheduling: Manage the posting calendar and publish content consistently on the Let There Be LinkedIn page.
Performance Awareness:
Track basic engagement metrics and flag what is working or not working to inform future content decisions.
Process Building: Develop and document a repeatable content system for the Let There Be LinkedIn presence, including a content calendar framework, approval workflow, and posting cadence.
What We Are Looking
For A genuine interest in marketing, content creation, or social media — ideally with some hands-on experience managing or contributing to a brand or personal account.
Strong writing skills with an instinct for voice, tone, and audience.
Comfort creating simple graphics or short-form visual content (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools).
Highly organized and self-directed. You can manage a content calendar without being micromanaged.
An interest in science, healthcare, or B2B marketing is a plus, but curiosity and a willingness to learn the space matters more.
Someone who takes initiative and brings ideas to the table unprompted.
How We Will
Start
If your background aligns with what we are looking for, we will invite you to complete a short creative challenge. This may include a creative writing assignment, a 60-second video introduction, or a sample LinkedIn post.
This step is intentional: we want to work with people who are excited enough about the opportunity to show us what they can do. Strong candidates will be invited to a brief introductory call, and from there we will move quickly toward an agreed start date with the goal of being fully onboarded by August 10th.
