The Role
This is a hands-on position focused on installing residential rooftop solar systems.
You’ll work as part of a crew to assemble, install, and maintain photovoltaic (PV) systems—ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on every project. What You’ll Be Doing
Installing Solar Systems
You’ll assemble and install solar panels, racking systems, and related components based on project plans and specifications.
Working on Rooftops
You’ll perform installations on residential rooftops, ensuring proper sealing, alignment, and structural integrity.
Following Plans & Standards
You’ll read and follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to ensure installations meet all required codes.
System Testing & Quality Checks
You’ll help verify system performance, check connections, and ensure everything is working correctly.
Maintaining Safety Standards
You’ll identify and manage safety risks on-site, ensuring safe working conditions at all times. What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of solar installation experience (required)
Experience working on rooftops
Ability to use tools and follow installation plans
Strong attention to detail and safety
Team player with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working outdoors and at heights Significant to Know
Location: Inland Empire, CA (must be local)
This is a field-based role

Compensation & Details
Salary: Paid per watt installed (performance-based compensation tied to production)
Location: Inland Empire, California
Reports to: Construction Manager
Department: Operations What Success Looks Like
Solar panels and racking installed safely, efficiently, and according to plans
Work completed correctly the first time, minimizing rework and delays
Strong teamwork and communication with crew members and site leads
Installations completed on schedule, meeting daily/weekly targets
Clean, organized job sites and proper handling of materials and equipment
Accurate updates on progress, issues, and completed work (Teamwork or similar tools)
Ability to identify and escalate issues in the field quickly
Consistent adherence to safety standards and company procedures In Summary
