Cohere seeks a SOX Compliance Expert to manage and optimize SOX compliance efforts in our leading AI environment. This role is critical in enhancing enterprise financial controls through strategic initiatives. As a SOX Compliance Expert, you will own the company’s SOX business process controls, focusing on risk assessment and corrective actions.

You must collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure robust documentation and efficient operational processes. Being adept in project management and financial analysis, you will play a key role in advising on transformative initiatives within the enterprise. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the ownership of SOX business process control frameworks
- Design and implement effective corrective actions for deficiencies




- Coordinate with various teams for integration of controls
- Manage the complete lifecycle of SOX documentation
- Provide strategic advisory on business transformation efforts

Requirements:

- 5+ years in internal audit and SOX compliance
- 2+ years in managerial roles, preferably in tech
- CIA, CPA, or CISA certifications required
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Proven capacity to communicate findings effectively
