Lead critical research initiatives with Exelixis as a Cell Line Development Scientist. Spearhead the production of mammalian cell lines to drive cancer biologics forward.
In this role, you will integrate with the Biotherapeutics group, designing and executing experiments essential for creating therapeutics aimed at difficult-to-treat cancers. Your in-depth knowledge in CHO systems and vector engineering will help build a pipeline of cutting-edge cancer treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop CHO cell lines for clinical trial candidates
- Optimize experimental techniques and processes
- Conduct screening and characterization of stable cell lines
- Identify and implement emerging biologics manufacturing practices
- Present experimental outcomes to the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 11+ years or Master’s degree with 9+ years experience
- Proven experience in molecular biology and protein expression
- Familiarity with transfection and single cell cloning methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation
- Understanding of good laboratory practices and safety protocols
