Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Subway Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in restaurant management, excellent customer service skills, and hands-on experience preparing Subway sandwiches and other menu items. This role requires a leader who can manage staff, maintain food quality and safety standards, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other menu items according to Subway standards and customer specifications.
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring effective service and a clean, organized work environment.
- Train, mentor, and schedule staff to maintain high performance and excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders, and minimize food waste.
- Handle cash, balance daily sales, and prepare deposits when required.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain quality control and ensure all products meet Subway standards.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of team members.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace.

Qualifications




- Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role.
- Previous experience preparing sandwiches in a rapid-food or quick-service restaurant, preferably Subway.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Experience with inventory management and cash handling.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
