Position Overview The Client is seeking a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist to support enterprise-level applications and large-scale government initiatives. The successful candidate will lead testing activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible, secure, and reliable solutions.
This role requires extensive experience in manual and automated testing, test strategy development, performance testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in both Agile and traditional delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise and recommendations on:

- Resource requirements for QA activities
- Plan and organize testing efforts for large-scale GUI and non-GUI systems.

- Collaborate with Testing Leads, IT Leads, Project Managers, and project teams during analysis, design, development, implementation, and support phases.
- Create automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Track, manage, and report defects using standard defect management tools.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, accessibility requirements, and security testing practices.
- Participate in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of software testing experience in enterprise IT environments and large-scale systems.
- Hands-on experience with:

- Extensive experience with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) testing and compliance.

- Proven expertise in end-to-end testing of complex systems, covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
