We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our team as a Team Lead in our wholesale greenhouse operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee a small team while working alongside them to complete daily tasks. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and can keep the team organized and productive. You'll be responsible for coordinating daily work, processing wholesale plant orders, and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Daily responsibilities include preparing wholesale plant orders, watering, planting, moving carts and plants, and supporting other greenhouse operations as needed. This position requires physical stamina, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

This is a permanent, year-round position. We are a busy wholesale greenhouse operation that operates throughout the year—it is not seasonal employment.

Responsibilities

- Lead and support a small team of co-workers while working alongside them.
- Read, organize, and delegate wholesale orders as they arrive.
- Ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
- Prepare and pack wholesale plant orders.
- Assist with greenhouse operations, including planting, watering, and maintaining growing areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and help solve day-to-day challenges.
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying priorities, keeping work moving, and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and productive workplace culture.

Qualifications




- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset but is not required.
- Natural leadership ability with strong organizational and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Greenhouse, horticulture, nursery, or landscaping experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Mechanical aptitude or experience using tools and equipment is considered an asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and lifting or moving carts, plants, and materials.

Working Conditions
- This position is primarily indoors in our greenhouse facilities.
- Our greenhouses are warm and dry during the winter months.
- Candidates must be comfortable working in hot and humid conditions during the summer.
- This is a physically active role

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
