Join the National Research Council in Ottawa as a Technical Advisor for Application Development and Database Administration. This role emphasizes the Symfony framework and team-oriented development in a hybrid work environment. The NRC is seeking a Technical Advisor within the Chief Information Officer Branch. You will deliver solutions using the Symfony framework for a custom-built web application, ChemIn-InChim.

Responsibilities include managing application development, database tasks, and technical documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain the ChemIn-InChim web application
- Write and modify application code as required
- Perform database administration for MariaDB or MySQL
- Collaborate with teams on technical issues
- Create detailed technical documentation for projects Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-6 years'

experience in LAMP stack development

- Proficient in PHP, Symfony, and HTML/CSS
- Familiar with GitLab for version control
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux command line tools Leverage your PHP and Symfony expertise at the NRC to redefine possibilities in Ottawa.
