This full time position involves working closely with students facing various mental health challenges at Pelican Falls First Nations High School. The Youth Worker will provide monitoring, crisis support, and counseling while ensuring care plans are effectively implemented.

The role features an adaptable work schedule that aligns with the school calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess student well-being using the Hack Intoxication Index
- Deliver immediate crisis support to students and staff
- Maintain adherence to care plans and after-care services
- Document referrals, case notes, and program reports
- Foster a culturally safe environment during care

Requirements:

- Experience in mental health or youth engagement
- First Aid and Mental Health First Aid certification preferred
- Understanding of Indigenous culture and customs
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Valid Class G Driver's License necessary
