Bioclean Disaster Services is seeking dependable individuals to join our team during a busy season. We have immediate openings for temporary restoration labourers and cleaners to assist with fire restoration and water damage projects.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of affected areas using various cleaning techniques and tools to prepare sites for restoration.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to assist with demolition, debris removal, and surface preparation.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of work sites, including moving materials and equipment as needed.
- Support the restoration team by handling light construction tasks such as drywall removal, surface cleaning, or minor repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of debris properly and adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure quality work and safety standards are met throughout each project.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently in a busy work setting.
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or basic construction techniques is a plus.
- Previous experience working in restoration or similar environments will help you hit the ground running.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety standards are essential for success in this role.
