Knowles Centre is a community-based, nonprofit agency for children, adolescents and young adults who are navigating difficult life experiences. Through a range of therapeutic and residential programs, we help young people and their families address trauma, strengthen relationships, and build pathways toward healthy and fulfilling lives.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our clinical team. This position provides assessment and therapeutic services to youth and their caregivers/families, working within a collaborative and trauma-informed environment.

This opportunity is well suited for both early-career clinicians seeking mentorship and experienced therapists looking for meaningful part-time clinical work in a supportive setting.

Role Resposibilities The Therapist will:

- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual and family therapy for youth and caregivers
- Apply trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in clinical supervision and team consultation

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Clinical experience working with children, youth and families
- Strong assessment, counselling, and therapeutic intervention skills
- Experience supporting youth experiencing behavioural, emotional, or mental health challenges
- Experience providing individual therapy and family therapy
- Training or experience in trauma and trauma informed practices
- Understanding of colonization,



intergenerational trauma, and Indigenous perspectives in healing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Education & Registration

- Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related discipline
- Professional registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate regulatory body
