Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes. This role requires a solid focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and maintain the company's reputation.

Candidates with skills in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and forklift operation are highly valued to support various logistical needs.

Duties

- Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles to transport freight over designated routes.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and documentation related to freight shipments.
- Assist with the maintenance and minor repairs of trucks and related equipment.
- Coordinate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or delays.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during operations.




- Support warehouse operations by handling freight movement and equipment operation when necessary.

Skills

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or logistics preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety checks.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and dispatchers.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, lift heavy objects, and perform vehicle inspections.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and transportation. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to efficient logistics operations while ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $5,000.00-$6,000.00 per month
