Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including heavy equipment.

Duties

- Safely operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing commercial driving.

Skills





- Proficient in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Experience in operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Basic automotive repair skills to address minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
