Job Title: Video Editor (with a side of AV / Live Events)

Location: Vancouver, BC (Downtown Studio – In-Person)

Company: Oh Boy Productions Here’s the deal: Oh Boy Productions is a tight-knit, fast-paced production company based in the heart of downtown Vancouver. We produce everything from TV shows and engaging podcasts to high-impact corporate videos, and we also dive heavy into the world of AV and live events. We’re looking for a passionate, driven Video Editor to join us in the studio.

If you live and breathe editing, love the creative puzzle of storytelling, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and wear a few different hats, we want to talk to you. What You’ll Do

Cut & Craft: Edit compelling content across a diverse slate, including TV episodes, podcast episodes, and corporate video projects. We use the Adobe suite of programs including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Express, After Effects, etc.

Own the Post Pipeline: Take projects from raw footage through rough cuts, sound tweaks, color correction, and final delivery.

Collaborate In-Studio: Work directly with our team in our downtown Vancouver studio to bring creative visions to life.

Pitch In Where Needed: As a small, nimble team, we all cross over into different areas. You’ll have the opportunity to support our AV and live events side when things get busy. If you have any experience using vMix, let us know!

Who You Are

Experienced but Hungry:



You’re likely a few years into your career with a solid portfolio or strong references that show you know your way around a timeline. You’ve got the technical basics down and are ready to level up your creative footprint.

A True Storyteller: You don’t just cut clips together; you understand pacing, tone, and how to keep an audience hooked.

A Multi-Skilled Go-Getter: You thrive in a small-company environment. You’re proactive, highly organized, and love learning new skills.

Locally Based: You live in the Vancouver area and enjoy the energy of working collaboratively in a studio environment (this is not a remote role).

Bonus Points If You Have:

Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, and other Adobe tools

Experience with vMix for live-streaming

Experience or interest in AV setup and live event production (cameras, audio switching, live streaming, etc.).

Motion graphics or basic animation skills.

Audio mixing and sound design experience.
