Chinook Transport Service is a family-owned and operated temperature-controlled cartage company shipping FTL and LTL produce, dairy, meats, seafood, baked goods and beverages throughout Calgary, Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of how to handle materials safely, with a preference for previous experience working with consumable products.
•Must have experience with temperature-controlled trailers- setting temperature and distinguishing different temperature zones
- High attention to detail.
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo.
- Valid Power and Forklift Certificate / License.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 (two) years previous distribution and warehouse experience with a preference for food distribution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate forklift - Load and unload of all trucks making sure all trucks are loaded as per company policy.
- Work from customer order sheets to build loads for transport
- Exhibit strict attention to detail and maintain order accuracy
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
- Ensure all paperwork is completed to standard
- Ensure pallets/loads are built correctly
- Maintain cleanliness in work area

Experience
- Warehouse distribution: 2 years (preferred)
- Forklift: 2 years (preferred)
