Serving the local mining industry, heavy equipment contractors, as well as public walk-ins. Precision Arc often has a wide variety of projects on the go.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to assemble structural forms.

Qualifications

- MUST hold Red Seal Welder or Fabricator certificate valid in CANADA & have at least 5 years journeyman working experience
- Hold a valid DL and be comfortable driving large service type vehicles in all types of weather conditions
- Motivated
- Able to complete tasks to a high standard of quality with minimal supervision
- Show a strong commitment to safety
- Willingness to work OT if required
- Be proficient in all welding processes Ex. GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, CAC
- CNC plasma cutting/CAD experience is an asset
- Understanding and knowledge of Lineboring operations are an asset

Some Duties Include

- Operate power tools and hand tools to fabricate and weld metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Utilize plasma cutting equipment for metal fabrication
- Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools

- Assemble metal structures
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the workshop

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50.00 per hour
