The Opportunity
As a Shipper, you are a key contributor on our team as you prepare and load orders to be shipped to our customers and our retail stores, along with helping out with other general warehouse duties.
Responsibilities
- Scan orders to update order statuses
- Validation of products using an RF scanner
- Move boxed orders from the conveyor into shipping containers
- Transport and build skids of product
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve any order issues
- Assist with picking, packing, restock, and putaway during downtime
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Adhere to company safety policies and safety compliance regulations
- Assist the Fulfillment and Receiving teams as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Company
Qualifications
- Experience operating in a similar role is considered an asset
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail
Additional Information
- The starting rate: $18.00 an hour
- This role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- The Warehouse Associate works in a warehouse setting and the temperature is variable depending on seasonal conditions. Lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of heavy product weighing 60 lbs, along with spending prolonged periods on your feet, is required
- Steel toe, green patch work boots are required.
