What You'll Be Doing
Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication to maintain and repair plant equipment and structures
Inspect equipment and identify maintenance needs to ensure safe and reliable operation
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to complete repairs accurately
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety standards
What Are We Looking For
Millwright experience considered an asset
Demonstrated ability to weld and fabricate using a variety of techniques and materials
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Commitment to safety practices and procedures in an industrial setting
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post offer pre employment physical examination and background check. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.
Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
