We are seeking an experienced Workiva Solution Architect with a strong background in financial reporting and corporate reporting to join a growing Workiva consulting practice. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leading the design and delivery of Workiva solutions that modernize financial reporting processes, improve data connectivity, and enhance reporting accuracy, controls, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on Workiva expertise, financial reporting knowledge, consulting experience, and robust client-facing skills. This role will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Controllership, SEC Reporting, FP&A;, and IT stakeholders to understand complex business requirements and translate them into scalable Workiva solutions

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, and implementation of Workiva solutions focused on financial and corporate reporting.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on Workiva best practices, solution design, and reporting transformation.
- Lead client discovery sessions, requirements gathering, process assessments, and solution design workshops.
- Translate complex financial reporting and business requirements into scalable and effective Workiva solutions.
- Design and implement solutions supporting SEC reporting, external financial reporting, management reporting, board reporting, and other corporate reporting processes.
- Configure and optimize Workiva Wdesk and related capabilities to meet client requirements.
- Develop connected reporting solutions that link financial data,



supporting schedules, narratives, and reporting documents.
- Design solutions that improve data integrity, reporting controls, auditability, data lineage, and governance.
- Support the integration of Workiva with client ERP, EPM, data warehouse, and other financial systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements and data flows between Workiva and client source systems.
- Lead solution architecture discussions and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop project deliverables including solution designs, requirements documentation, process flows, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
- Provide oversight and guidance to Workiva consultants and implementation team members throughout project delivery.
- Support testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and client knowledge transfer.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve clients' overall financial reporting operating models.
- Stay current on new Workiva product capabilities and industry best practices to provide clients with forward-looking recommendations.




- Contribute to internal Workiva methodologies, accelerators, templates, and best practices.
- Support business development activities, including client presentations, solution demonstrations, proposals, scoping, and pre-sales engagements as needed.
- Participate in multiple client engagements and manage competing priorities in a consulting environment.

Required Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience working with Workiva, including hands-on experience designing and implementing Workiva solutions.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, corporate reporting, and financial close processes.
- Experience supporting SEC reporting, external reporting, or financial statement reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with Workiva Wdesk and connected reporting capabilities.
- Previous experience working in a consulting, systems integrator, or professional services environment.
- Experience leading client-facing requirements gathering, discovery, and solution design sessions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical and functional solution designs.
- Experience working with financial data from ERP, EPM, and other enterprise financial systems.
- Strong understanding of financial data structures, reporting hierarchies, and data integration concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and work effectively in a project-based environment.
