At Rise Elite, we are dedicated to developing top-tier basketball talent, solid work ethics, and leadership skills on and off the court. We aim to empower athletes aged 13–16 through high-level skill training, tactical execution, and positive athletic mentorship.

Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, dedicated, and high-character Basketball Coach to lead or assist in developing young athletes. This position is ideal for candidates with prior coaching/volunteering experience or passionate individuals looking to build a foundation in athletic coaching, sports management, or youth mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

- Player Development: Lead or assist in running structured drills focusing on fundamental skills, athletic conditioning, and game IQ.
- Practice & Game Execution: Assist with practice planning, scrimmage orchestration, and bench management during games or training sessions.
- Mentorship: Act as a positive role model, fostering sportsmanship, resilience, and a high-performance mindset in players aged 13–16.
- Communication: Coordinate effectively with head coaches, program leadership, and parents regarding schedules, player progress, and expectations.
- Safety & Logistics: Ensure a safe, supportive,



and inclusive environment during all team practices, workouts, and events.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience or Ambition:
- Prior experience coaching, volunteering, or assisting with youth basketball (ages 13–16 preferred), OR
- A strong desire to gain hands-on coaching experience and build a career in athletics/mentorship.
- Basketball Knowledge: Solid understanding of basketball fundamentals, player movement, and team concepts.
- Availability: Reliable commitment to scheduled practices, workouts, and game days.
- Background Check: Ability to clear a vulnerable sector screening / background check (if required).
