Position: Yard Attendant

Term: Temporary contract for approximately 6 (six) months

Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform shipping and receiving duties as required
- Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts
- Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

- Exceptional attention to detail and quality
- Highly self‑motivated
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an asset
- Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
- Experience running a forklift is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
- Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
