Lead CMP Home Base's event programming as Co-VP Events, focusing on key social activities throughout the academic year. This role entails a weekly commitment of 4-6 hours to create an engaging community environment.
Starting in July 2026 and ending in April 2027, you will coordinate two signature transition events: the Welcome Week Kickoff and the Mid-Year Reset. You'll also organize recurring drop-in coffee chats, while managing logistics like venue booking and guest outreach. Working closely with Marketing Co-VPs, you'll help promote events and cultivate attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute CMP's key transition events in September and January - Coordinate monthly mixers and coffee chats for community engagement - Manage logistics including venue bookings and event flow - Work collaboratively with the marketing team to drive attendance - Collect and analyze post-event feedback for improvement
Requirements: - Proven organizational and operational skills - Background in event planning or community-building preferred - Robust communication and time management abilities - Independent decision-making capability under pressure - Enthusiastic and creatively inclined towards community building
