Position: Commercial Account Executive – Commercial Insurance

Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Full-Time, In-Office)
Salary: $40,000 – $60,000 annually (based on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

One of our clients is seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Account Executive to join their growing team in Edmonton. This role is ideal for someone with strong relationship-building abilities, a passion for customer service, and experience in commercial insurance.

The successful candidate will manage commercial client accounts, identify insurance needs, negotiate coverage solutions, and maintain long-term client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the commercial insurance portfolio.

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and existing commercial clients

· Identify client insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage and risk management solutions

· Prepare and present insurance proposals, quotations, renewals, and policy summaries

· Negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage with insurance carriers

· Manage commercial accounts, including renewals,



endorsements, and policy updates

· Provide exceptional customer service and ongoing account support

· Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to ensure timely and efficient service

· Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes

· Achieve individual sales and retention targets while supporting overall business growth

Qualifications & Requirements

· Alberta Level 1 Insurance License (required)

· Previous experience of 2-3 years in commercial insurance is preferred

· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

· Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships

· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

· Sales-oriented mindset with solid problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance management systems is considered an asset

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
