Job Description

We are looking for a customer-focused Deli Bakery Team Associate to provide excellent service, maintain the bakery area, and assist with stocking and merchandising baked goods. This role is important for ensuring product quality and a great shopping experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
- ​​Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.​
- Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording,



food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
- Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.​
- Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
- Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.​
- Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.​

Pay: From $18.05 per hour
