Household Assistant (Part-Time)

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Household Assistant to help maintain a private home.

This position includes housekeeping, laundry, home organization, light pet care, and general household assistance. The ideal candidate enjoys keeping spaces clean, organized, and running smoothly. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and is comfortable helping with a variety of household tasks.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Laundry

- General household cleaning and tidying
- Laundry, folding, ironing, and putting clothing away
- Changing bed linens and making beds
- Maintaining a clean and organized home environment

Home Organization

- Organizing closets, drawers, storage bins, and household items
- Sorting and putting items back in their proper places
- Assisting carefully with organizing kitchen cabinets, pantry, refrigerator, and storage areas
- Helping with seasonal clothing changes and household organization projects

Household Assistance

- Receiving deliveries and putting away purchases
- Monitoring household supplies and letting us know when items are running low
- Assisting with preparing returns and outgoing packages
- Helping maintain general household order and organization
- Assisting with simple household scheduling when needed

Pet Care (4 Cats)

- Cleaning litter boxes




- Cleaning and maintaining cat water fountains
- Washing pet bowls and feeding stations
- Cleaning cat carriers when needed
- Washing and changing cat beds and blankets
- Brushing cats when needed

Kitchen Assistance

- Washing fruits and vegetables
- Organizing food containers and pantry items
- Assisting with basic kitchen organization

Additional Tasks

- Cleaning makeup brushes and beauty tools
- Organizing personal care and household items
- Assisting with occasional household projects as needed

Ideal Candidate

- Reliable and trustworthy
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Comfortable working around cats
- Physically capable of performing household tasks
- Previous housekeeping or home organization experience is an asset

Schedule

- Approximately 5 hours per visit
- Visits every 3 days
- Flexible schedule
