We are seeking an experienced Application Administrator with a strong focus on finance to support and manage Stantec’s financial application suite. The role involves maintaining, configuring, and operating Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle Fusion Cloud, and related applications while ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage system settings, including tax rates, fixed asset categories, currency rates, HRMS jobs/grades, GL chart of accounts, rollups, and cross‑validation rules.

Perform period‑end activities, such as GL segment and rollup adjustments, and execute year‑end processes.

Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to review system reliability, integrity, and control effectiveness.

Conduct quarterly security reviews, user access audits, and privilege evaluations in Fusion applications.

Run regular security tests and monitoring activities to safeguard application environments.

Lead configuration change implementation for various financial applications.

Monitor software licensing usage, conduct usage audits, and develop licensing requirements for future growth.

Provision users and roles in non‑production environments following IT access procedures and the authorities matrix.

Coordinate environment refreshes and perform pre‑ and post‑refresh tasks with delivery teams and project managers.

Manage and install patches, updates, and upgrades to keep application environments current and optimal.

Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot application processing to resolve performance issues.

Maintain comprehensive documentation, including configurations, procedures, and licensing guides.





Update and maintain Stantec’s service catalog for application services.

Qualifications

Proficiency with Oracle eBSS finance modules.

Strong understanding of accounting practices, general ledger processes, and financial regulations.

Experience with Oracle Cloud implementations, particularly Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Post‑secondary degree or diploma in information systems, computer science, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Finance and/or accounting background (asset).

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and self‑motivation.

Pay Range

Locations Outside Lower Mainland – BC & Various locations in Ontario: $68,200 - $98,900 annually.

Locations in Lower Mainland – BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario: $72,300 - $104,800 annually.
