Role Description
This is a full-time in office role as an Accounting Specialist at Western Sales (1986) Ltd., located in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. The Accounting Specialist (Accounts Payables) will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
The ideal candidate will have robust organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Responsibilities
Processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Matching invoices to purchase orders, reconciling statements, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
Experience in finance or accounting
Knowledge of journal entries in accounting
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Solid analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Relevant education in finance or accounting
