InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm involved in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.

Our client, a leading service and installation organization is looking to hire Quality Engineer's on a project basis. This is a day shift with overtime 7.00AM to 5.00PM and a contract role until possibly end of September.

Responsibilities:

- Perform daily inspections of all completed installation work against approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Verify that installations comply with engineering drawings, OEM requirements, and customer specifications.
- Identify, document, and communicate deficiencies, punch list items, and non-conformances to the installation team.
- Ensure all quality issues are corrected before work is signed off as complete.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, QA checklists, and photographic documentation.
- Conduct line-by-line and area-by-area quality audits before release for commissioning.
- Verify proper alignment, leveling, torqueing, anchoring, and overall workmanship of installed equipment.
- Ensure components such as belts, rollers, guards, sensors, netting, and safety devices are installed correctly and function as intended.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Site Supervisors,



and the customer to resolve quality concerns promptly.
- Track recurring issues and provide feedback to improve installation processes and prevent repeat deficiencies.
- Verify that completed work is clean, safe, and ready for handover to commissioning teams.
- Participate in customer walkthroughs and assist in closing punch list items in a timely manner.
- Escalate critical quality concerns immediately when they may impact schedule, safety, or commissioning.

Qualifications:

- Experience performing mechanical quality checks on machinery systems.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be Available to Start Immediately
- Must have valid Fall Protection - can be obtain upon acceptence
- Must have valid Elevated Work Platform -can be obtain upon acceptence
