This senior role requires expertise in Development Review, Community Planning, and Transportation Planning. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead advanced professional planning assignments and manage projects
• Evaluate complex applications like permits and development agreements
• Prepare comprehensive reports for staff, Boards, and Council
• Conduct field assessments and ensure compliance with planning regulations
• Facilitate public meetings on various planning matters
Requirements:
• University degree in Planning or related fields
• Five years of professional planning experience required
• Knowledge of Municipal Government Act and planning legislation
• Licensed Professional Planner candidacy preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
