POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller and be responsible for managing all financial operations for a designated warehouse location. From completing month-end procedures and recording entries in QuickBooks, to paying vendor invoices, issuing customer invoices, and preparing ad hoc reporting, you will serve as the primary point of support for the Controller. The finance team’s core priority is delivering timely, accurate monthly financial statements for the CFO. We are looking for someone who is organized, thinks critically and analytically, communicates effectively, and is willing to go the extra mile when the situation calls for it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare timely and accurate month-end financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Perform full-cycle accounting procedures including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and reconciliations Manage cash planning and day-to-day banking activities Assist with annual audit procedures and external auditor requests Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management Interact with management, customers, and vendors to resolve financial matters

QUALIFICATIONS

CPA designation (or actively pursuing) 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in logistics, transportation,



or manufacturing Proficient in QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis) Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and analytical abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and shift priorities to meet deadlines Quick learner motivated to apply new knowledge in a fast-paced environment
