The Ladysmith Chamber of Commerce is seeking an organized, energetic, and community-minded professional to join our team as a full-time Visitor Centre Manager & Chamber Administrator.
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Visitor Centre while supporting Chamber administration, member services, communications, tourism promotion, and event coordination.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing Visitor Centre operations and customer service
- Supporting Chamber members and administrative functions
- Coordinating tourism information and promotional materials
- Assisting with events, marketing, and community engagement
- Maintaining databases, communications, and office systems
- Supervising Visitor Centre staff and volunteers
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience in administration, tourism, hospitality, or nonprofit operations preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms
- Knowledge of the local community and tourism sector is an asset
Position Details:
- Full-time – 35 hours per week
- Wage: $25.00/hour
- Extended health and perks package available
- Some evening and weekend work required for events
