Bilingual Payroll Specialist

Quebec Payroll Experience Required

We’re partnering with a growing healthcare and senior living organization to hire a Bilingual Payroll Specialist to support a large, multi-site workforce across Canada. This role is ideal for someone with strong Quebec payroll expertise who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is confident managing complex payroll operations with accuracy and discretion.

You’ll play a key role supporting payroll for clinical, operational, and corporate employees across multiple provinces while ensuring compliance with evolving provincial legislation and collective payroll requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for employees across Ontario and Quebec
- Process payroll accurately within Desjardins Payroll & HR Solutions or similar payroll platforms
- Ensure compliance with Quebec payroll legislation including CNESST, QPIP, Revenu Québec, ESA, and statutory deductions
- Administer payroll changes including new hires, terminations, leaves, benefits, and ROEs
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and support payroll audits
- Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities
- Partner closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to resolve payroll inquiries efficiently
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and payroll process optimization

What You Bring





- Fully bilingual in English and French
- 3+ years of payroll experience, including significant exposure to Quebec payroll
- Experience processing payroll for large employee groups in healthcare, senior living, or multi-site environments
- Strong understanding of provincial payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with Desjardins Payroll preferred
- (Dayforce, UKG, or other enterprise payroll systems considered an asset)
- PCP or PLP designation considered an asset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable managing sensitive employee information confidentially
