Role Description

Moose & Squirrel Medical Clinic is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant Certified to join our dynamic team on-site in Sundre, Alberta. The Physician Assistant will work closely with family physicians and other healthcare providers, conducting patient assessments, performing medical procedures, and managing treatment plans. Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories,



ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting in clinical decision-making, and providing patient education. The role will also involve contributing to preventive healthcare strategies and collaborating with the team to uphold our high standards of primary care services.

Qualifications

- Clinical competencies such as patient assessment, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans.
- Proficiency in medical procedures and knowledge of diagnostic processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Experience with evidence-based healthcare practices and commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment with other healthcare professionals.
- Valid certification as a Physician Assistant (PAC) and eligibility for relevant provincial certification in Alberta.
- Experience in a rural healthcare setting is an asset but not required.
- Commitment to the principles of mentorship and teaching is encouraged.
